Chalet Le Sabot offers comfortable and luxurious accommodation for up to 10 people. It has a warm and welcoming feel and is ideal for families or groups of friends for week long skiing or snowboarding holidays.
We are happy to accept bookings for just 2 people and offer sole occupancy for groups of any size (up to 10 people) where requested. During our premium weeks sole occupancy is as standard providing the ideal venue for festive celebrations, family half term breaks and Easter retreats.
During the winter months Chalet Le Sabot is proud to serve all guests with an excellent standard of care and hospitality readily provided by our wonderful host couple.
Winter sports can be exhausting as well as exhilarating so what could be better than to return ‘home’ at the end of a fun yet perhaps tough day to the welcome of a warm chalet. The fire is stoked, the sauna ready and waiting for you to lie down in and relieve your aching muscles, dinner is simmering with evocative aromas and you are being poured a glass of wine offered a mug of cocoa and comforted by the homeliness of some freshly baked cake....
Chalet Le Sabot is spread over 3 floors. On the ground floor is the main living space with the lounge (with sofas and roaring log fire), dining area, kitchen, a WC, the heated boot room and, of course, the impressive balcony with stunning views over the valley. There are 2 bedrooms on the upper floor with a bathroom and shower room and 2 bedrooms on the lower ground floor with, again, a bathroom and shower room. The upper floor also has a TV area with comfy beanbags and heaps of DVDs and TV channels to surf on the LCD TV/DVD. WiFi is accessible throughout the accommodation.
The heated boot room is a big favourite amongst Chalet Le Sabot guests as it ensures kit is always bone dry and toasty warm in the morning making for a perfect start to the day, especially if you can hear the wind whipping outside and know it’s minus fingers out there! It takes children (and adults!) much less time to get ready and be off out snuggling happily into cosy salapettes, gloves and jackets rather than soggy, freezing ones and the individual heated boot warmers cannot be beaten in their appeal to reluctant skiers!
At the other end of the day, bedtime, unwind with a hot bath then climb into the wonderfully comfortable beds with their soft, deep duvets and pillows. Or stay up a little longer to sink onto a sofa and linger by the fire in the sociable lounge sharing the day with your friends and family without the distraction of a TV. Those who want to watch TV or DVDs can do so in the snug area, an ideal place to set the kids up for some wind-down time.
Please note that we have a strict no smoking policy throughout the chalet. We kindly ask our guests who wish to smoke to do so outside the chalet or on the balcony area where an ashtray is provided.
