Summer Reviews

[ Winter ]

Had lovely week in the mountains. Started with heavy rain but did not matter as Mat Winstanley from our UK team won the Super Moto in Alpe díHuez. The area is beautiful, ski lifts and local towns worth visiting.

Had a great time here, it was lovely. The weather was pretty bad but the views were still amazing. We would love to come again. Good things: The comfy beds all the bathrooms, the baths, the DVDís, Scrabble. We would like to come again.

All too soon we are leaving this wonderful spot and heading back to Blighty. We've had an incredible time and enjoyed many of the outdoor activities in the area.

With regards the chalet, everything has worked out perfectly. Many thanks again for all your assistance and long-distance hospitality. We certainly would like to return in the future.

The Chalet was wonderful and as good as promised we thoroughly enjoyed staying there even if the cycle up from Allemont was a killer !

We had a wonderful stay and the chalet surpassed our expectations. With the garage and boot room we had a great space for our bikes and kit. Meanwhile the bedrooms and bathrooms were positively luxurious!

The mountain biking race was awesome, made so by the incredible network of trails offered up by Oz. The chalet was so convenient for the lifts and morning croissants!

We are in active discussions as we speak about next year, especially since one of our crew (Jevan Williams) came 3rd in Cadet Class in the main Megavalanche! Not many chalets house podium riders!

With our cycle team we stayed for one week in Chalet Le Sabot, cause we participate Alpe d'Huzes on Thursday. On that day 4400 cyclists climb the Alpe d'Huez to raise money for KWF, a Dutch Cancer foundation. Staying in Le Sabot was great. A lovely house, a brilliant view and plenty of space. I enjoyed the sauna every day, after training sessions it was so nice for our muscles ;)

We can recommend the chalet during the summer, but no doubt also in winter it will be beautiful. I hope to come back, in winter AND summer!
