Driving to Chalet Le Sabot from the UK is really quite straightforward and will take approximately 9 hours from your arrival at Nothern ferry ports (such as Dunkirk). From other destinations, equally simple.

French roads are good and authorities far better prepared for wintery conditions than in England!

If you are hiring a car and driving from the airport the directions given are correct for you but if you are not flying into Grenoble please check the first part of your journey.

Please be aware there are tolls to pay along your journey or varying amounts. Have change ready or you can pay by credit card.

Please be advised you may need snow chains.

You can park directly outside the chalet or in the car park just up from us. It is unlikely you will need a vehicle during your stay- there is plenty to do and vast amounts of skiing so do consider if you really need one or if it is better to fly and take a taxi transfer, which we can organise.
